When the family arrived at Oxford yesterday on routine observations Milly was found to have a temperature. This morning she was visited by the anesthetist who said that is was not medically advisable to go ahead with surgery in this instance. They do not know why Milly has a temperature as her throat, ears etc are all normal.
The plan is to see how Milly gets on today. The family have been put in ‘isolation’ ,but they are all together. If Milly's temperature stays normal today her operation will be rescheduled for this Wednesday 7th March, but if Milly continues to be unwell today it is likely that they will be asked to leave the hospital – return to Daventry and have the operation rescheduled for sometime next week - (no date available yet)
